This Valentine's Day we are celebrating Cozy Critters Pet Sitters' fifteenth anniversary! 

We are so grateful for all of our wonderful clients, both two and four-legged. We love meeting other animal-loving people in our area. We love getting to know each and every pet, caring for them and loving them as if they were our own. So many memories and funny stories are made over the years. But most of all, we love providing a great service to our community!  Looking forward to making more friends and memories....

Our 14th Anniversary

It's February already and this month Cozy Critters Pet Sitters celebrates our 14th anniversary! Woohoo! It's hard to believe sometimes we have been providing this great service to our community for fourteen years. When you are doing what you love and are passionate about, and it's also providing a service to others -- well, that's what it's all about, isn't it? Not to mention everywhere and every time we show up for work we are greeted with such joy, enthusiasm, excitement and love! How many people can say that? We love what we do and we are so grateful for our clients, both human and animal, and all that we have shared, experienced and learned over the years. We look forward to what lies ahead in the years to come!

Celebrating 13 Years in Business!

This year is a special anniversary for Cozy Critters. This is our 13th anniversary! Woohoo! Thirteen is my lucky number. I was born on the 13th.

Cozy Critters Pet Sitters was established on Feb. 14th, 2002. What better day to begin a business that is doing not only what I love, but one of my passions, than on Valentine's Day -- the day we celebrate love.

And in addition to it being our 13th anniversary on Valentine's Day, the day before is Friday, the 13th -- another lucky day for me!  :)

We are so grateful for all of the clients we have and have had over the last 13 years. It is so nice meeting other animal loving people and all of their animals. We are not only passionate about animals, we also love being of service to others and bringing them peace of mind while they are away from their beloved pets.

We look forward with anticipation to another year in service.

I Love Elephants!

We are pet sitters because we LOVE pets. But it doesn't stop there....we love all animals! One of my favorite wild animals is the beautiful, majestic elephant. Elephants are incredibly intelligent and emotional beings. Many years ago I read a wonderful book called Modoc - The True Story of the Greatest Elephant That Ever Lived. This book touched me so deeply that I never looked at elephants the same again. Another wonderful book on the emotional lives of elephants and other animals is When Elephants Weep: The Emotional Lives of Animals. These books will certainly give you a new perspective on animals.

Tarra and Bella

The reason I brought elephants up is because in addition to Cozy Critters celebrating twelve years in business this Valentine's Day, it is also Tarra's 40th Birthday! Tarra (pictured above) is the founding elephant at The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, which was founded in 1995. It is our nation's largest natural habitat refuge developed specifically for African and Asian elephants. The Sanctuary provides captive elephants a natural habit, individualized care and the opportunity to live out their lives in a safe haven dedicated to their well being. As a true sanctuary, the habitat where the elephants live is not open to the public. You can however, watch them live on their website via their Elecams. How cool is that?! I have been a proud member of The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee for years and am wishing Tarra a happy 40th birthday! I am so glad that she and all the other elephants there at the sanctuary are able to live the rest of their lives like elephants should.

You may remember seeing the story about Tarra and Bella which was shown on several different television programs and in magazines in recent years. Bella was Tarra's dog. They were inseparable and the story of their love for each other will pull your heart strings.

Our 11th Anniversary

2002 - 2013

This month we are celebrating Cozy Critters Pet Sitters' eleventh anniversary! I was still digesting the fact that I've been pet sitting for a decade and now another year has already gone by. Time goes by so fast....

We are so grateful for all of our wonderful clients, both two and four-legged. We love meeting other animal-loving people in our area. We love getting to know each and every pet, caring for them and loving them as if they were our own. So many memories and funny stories are made over the years. But most of all, we love providing a great service: Pet Sitting! Looking forward to making more friends and memories....

Cozy Critters Donates to Patrons for Bellaire Parks

Bellaire Town Square Entry Plaza

In honor of our 10th anniversary, Cozy Critters Pet Sitters is proud to be a donor to the new Bellaire city hall entry plaza. The entry plaza, complete with a gazebo, new landscaping and a brick walkway and wall, has local businesses advertised on the wall and brick walkway. Though we had no choice in where our brick was placed, we couldn't have gotten a better placement -- front and center!

They will be having a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Monday, May 21st at 6:00 PM at the gazebo behind city hall located at 7008 S. Rice. Stop by and check it out. 

Celebrating 10 Years in Business!

It is with great pride that I am able to say that Cozy Critters Pet Sitters is celebrating their 10th anniversary! It's hard to believe a whole decade has passed since I first started the business in the Spring of 2002. It has gone by so fast! We have done well over 36,000 pet sitting visits! These last ten years have been filled with many wonderful memories, lots of funny stories and a whole lot of unconditional love from all the wonderful pets we have cared for. We have learned a lot too, and continue to every day. Not to mention it's been a real pleasure to get to meet and provide a great service for so many animal loving people like ourselves! We have the greatest clients! We couldn't ask for more! A big "thank you" to all of our clients and we hope to be your pet sitters for many more years to come.

Another big "thank you" goes to MeyerLand Animal Clinic, who not only has treated our pets (and some of our clients' pets) for the past few decades but has also referred many clients to us. All the veterinarians and staff there are great! Thank you for your continued confidence in us. We really appreciate all that you do.
